Description: Runty and weak-looking, he wears loose pants and a collared shirt complete with sweater beneath his coat. He has done his best to style his brown hair to look like a famous performer. His brown eyes dart from person to person.

Personality: He believes there is no problem he cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. He always tries to repair and not replace. It was this mentality that drove him into the Sage business.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. Like his father and his brother before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Sage. He's also a talented Interpreter, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Description: This slender man stands about 6'6". He wears an amalgamation of clothes and depending on the season will wear more layers of the continuing hodge podge. He has styled his brown hair well, parting it to the left. His fair skin shows little sign of his aristocratic breeding.

Personality: While he acts the brute, he is far gentler than he would appear. Only to laugh say gotcha and shoot double pistol fingers at the fooled target.

History: He was born at the edge of vast desert. Frederick was born on a far eastern desert where he grew up under the tutelage of his mother, an expert Marshal. He left for the east, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: Further expansion of business; and he'd like to take his coworkers down a peg

Description: Wearing a closed helm and plate, one would not know what he was had he not made sure his armor was more form fitting than normal. Outside of the suit he has a large black mantle and cape that has been intricately interwoven into his green robe. He has blonde hair. He wears an eyepatch.

Personality: He is not truly malevolent, but he is obsessed with dancing. He constantly tries to fill his life with dancing. He is vehemently anti-magic. All of it is evil and corrupting in his opinion.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Charles was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: To find somewhere to settle down; and obtaining odd cultural human artifacts is his passion

Description: He has a missing left arm. He does not wear sleeves and tends to eschew shirts when he can avoid it. His blonde hair is cut jaggedly and amateurishly. His violet eyes are slightly larger than normal.

Personality: He does not care much for physical appearances, nor does he care much for other people. He does however care about what he wants and getting it. He passes on several rewards to people in need. He makes a point to leave places better than he found them.

History: Gerald lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Bookbinder. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Bookbinder.

Motivation: Regain custody of his daughter; and his spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion

Personality: He is irascible and easily irritated. He has a small toy that he constantly fidgets with.

History: Jocelyn was born in the west. At a young age he loved to build and create. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. After a long history of fighting, Jocelyn and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever.
