History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. Miles was orphaned to a temple shortly after his birth. He was raised by the temple staff to care always for others above himself and to hold his god always in his heart. History: Born the oldest of a large religious western family, he was no stranger to responsibility. He has had some formal poetry training, and achieved minor success. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

Description: He has a missing left arm. He wears suspenders and brown workpants. His shirt is pastel, and he wears a heavy brown leather apron most of the time. His hair is greying and his face has many wrinkles. His fierce amber eyes like to dwell on things.

Personality: His voice, at times compared to that of a Nymph, lambasts those who consider themselves "civilized" with snide, belittling remarks; the subtle growl he speaks with growing louder in doing so, one can find it most pronounced, despite the otherwise natural purity of his tone. He constantly seizes attention wherever he goes and has come to expect this respect from everyone. He likes to think of himself as merciful, but nonetheless is very strict.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Bernard grew up listening to his mother's many stories. When the war came and ruined his parents he was left adrift.
