History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Adelard grew up listening to his father's many stories. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. He dropped out of school before completing his studies. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. His first spouse was a Gardener, they had one son, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Gardener they were divorced and he won custody of their son. He worked as a Ploughman, and he later adopted a second son.
