Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes drow are coming to abduct people. He is underhanded and not above using his wealth and body to get others to do his bidding.

History: Frederick was born with his mother's beautiful face. At a young age his mother died while driving off some drow. His father being the stubborn sort decided to stay and helped train him in axe use. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to drow demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by drow, and he desires to right it.

He found his father impaled in their home, and his mother beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. After a long history of fighting, Ernest and his spouse have recently divorced.
