History: He was raised by priests from a young age. He dropped out of school before completing his studies. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.

Motivation: He is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs; and to share knowledge with the world

Description: This slender man stands about 6'0". He prefers to wear flannel. His hair is always cut to a buzz. His face is covered beneath a completely black helmet.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Cory embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. The war was a terrible time for him, and Cory does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. When Cory reached his early adolescence his Human father passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

Personality: He is fixated on the number 98. He counts his steps and bites of food to keep in track with it. He seems to be used to being ignored and not questioned about it. He is cautious and jumpy. He reacts to every sound and lacks any concept of subtlety.

History: Patrick was raised in a hard working conservative environment. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Humans in the east were limited. He has achieved small success as a Glassblower.

Motivation: A deep hatred of giants; and revenge

History: Norman was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Druid, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Druid in service of a powerful lord somewhere. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.

Motivation: To reunite with his old friends; and he's looking for his big break
