History: He was born at the edge of vast forest. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Baker hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Justin embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. He is submissive, is generally bored by everything, but will take part in whatever people ask of him. He is by nature obliging.

History: His psionic talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. Through the years after Justin was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Justin's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

Personality: He does not believe in betrayal or weakness as things to be tolerated. He spends most of his days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There he gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: Bernard was raised in a hard working conservative environment. He worked as a nervous Apothecary and found it very stressful. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature shortspear.

Motivation: To be a Soapmaker again; and obtaining odd cultural human artifacts is his passion

Personality: He believes mankind has become decadent and spoiled by the march of civilization and an end should come to life as we know it. He does not trust anyone and sleeps with one eye open.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. His father took him hunting and taught him how to get in the mind of other creatures. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: He has money and likes to spend it; and money/treasure

Description: He is an attractive man, lean and moderately muscular. He tends to wear a green poncho over his likewise colored trousers and shirt. His moppish black hair is in a traditional bowl cut. His eyes are a pleasant gray.

Personality: He considers himself the protector of his home. He feels this is his duty and calling. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of gnolls may trigger it at times.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when gnolls swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. He inherited a moderately successful company from his father. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Many gnolls want him driven away.
