History: Shane hails from a village terrorized by illithids. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature shield.

Personality: He is a pretentious jerk insisting that modern society is full of problems and should revert to a simpler time. He loves his children and doesn't want them to worry about him. He loves to share his singing with anyone who is interested.

History: Born to a Performer, his mother struggled to pay the bills. His first spouse was a Performer, they had one daughter, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. A serious injury left his father unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm father. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Hunter they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Navigator, and he later adopted a second daughter.

History: Justin was born with his mother's beautiful face. While he appears to be a normal Human, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.
