History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. He refers to his adoptive mother for almost all things he is unsure about, which are numerous. He is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: Shane lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Heward was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Hunter. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Shipwright they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Hunter, and he later adopted a second daughter.
