Description: A man with a calm yet intense air about him, he wears an entirely white suit with brown socks and a vest with buckled shoes. His red hair has been sun bleached extensively. His blue eyes dart around the room hyper actively observing anyone and anything.

Personality: He is a very philanthropic person; he spends his free time working at various soup kitchens. He is cautious and jumpy. He reacts to every sound and lacks any concept of subtlety.

History: Nicholas was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Ranger, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Ranger in service of a powerful lord somewhere. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Sellsword hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

History: He was raised by priests from a young age. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions.

History: Gifted from a young age, Lance studied abroad. His father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Personality: He is a pretentious jerk insisting that modern society is full of problems and should revert to a simpler time. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of giants may trigger it at times.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. His father disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his father, he was betrayed dozens of times. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by giants. Nicholas was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the giants.

Motivation: An old rival family wants him found.
