History: He got into the Roofer business at a young age. He helped his father out around the business and became quite the natural. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by illithids. Adelard was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the illithids.

Motivation: Wants his loneliness to end; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by illithids, and he desires to right it

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Herbalist for hire.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Herbalist responsibilities is difficult; and further expansion of business

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. Since his mother passed away years ago, his father had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He has dedicated himself to building a better village for his children.

Motivation: To reunite with his old friends; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark
