Henry Marlowe, Male Human [Permalink]
Personal [hide]
Description: This man is moderately tanned and has just the faintest trace of an accent. He wears a red coat over a grey low-cut shirt, and a feathered hat upon his head. His blonde hair is slicked back into a classic pompadour. His face possesses mild wrinkles. His smile is extraordinarily sincere though he does not smile often.
Personality: He is happy with his job as a Sage. He turns his eye from what people do, preferring to live and let live. He is lazy, self-centered, vain, and jealous.
History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his father and mother. His father taught him the rudiments of the Sage arts, while his mother instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. Being born in the east, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the east for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way west. He has set out to sabotage the competition.
Motivation: To unite with his brother; and his spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion
Flaws: Selfish. Bonds: Immigrant, Job, Rich, Family. Occupation: Sage
Voice: Sore throat, cough

Personal [hide]
Description: He is constantly adorned with expensive silk clothing, often dyed in bright red and violet, and wears rings and necklaces with large, colorful gems. His hair is always cut to a buzz. His eyes are likewise brown. His teeth are white and perfect.
Personality: Henry speaks confidently about a variety of topics with grace. He is clearly well-traveled and educated. He is a bit of a xeno-phobe, disliking non-Humans.
History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Henry grew up listening to his father's many stories. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the mountains to a summer home near a ruined castle. He would wander through that ruined castle and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the mountains due to the painful memories there. Henry took refuge in the ruined castle and found the beat up scimitar and armor he uses now. He leaves a trail of broken hearts and full pockets wherever he goes.
