His mother taught him the rudiments of the Painter arts, while his father instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. He was a friend to animals and a trickster. John Thornton, Male Human [Permalink]
Personal [hide]
Description: He is lean but muscular and prefers to wear the grand gowns of high society. He carries his fan with him everywhere and carries himself as the perfect gentleman. He keeps his golden hair in a pixie cut. His blue eyes lackadaisically let the world flow into them.
Personality: He is fixated on the number 38. He counts his steps and bites of food to keep in track with it. He seems to be used to being ignored and not questioned about it. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, John is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.
History: John was born the youngest of three triplets. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Miner they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Bricklayer, and he later adopted a second daughter.
Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister; and regain custody of his daughter
Ideals: Justice. Flaws: Insane. Bonds: Rich, Family, Religious. Occupation: Bricklayer

Gilbert Axton, Male Human [Permalink]
Personal [hide]

Personality: He has two modes he varies between. On the job he is cold, steely and emotionless. Off the job he is a party animal. He spends most of his days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There he gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.
History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. Personal [hide]
Description: This fat northern man has a bulbous nose and wears just a tan suit. His skin is also unnaturally pale. His hair is cut close to his head. His ears are large.
Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He does not believe in violence as a means to an end. He is a dedicated Fletcher but believes his peers are too gung-ho.
History: He was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. Through the years after Hunter was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north.
