History: The child of a Bounty Hunter, who enjoyed hunting, Bertram was taken on many hunting expeditions. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes drow are coming to abduct people. He is lazy, self-centered, vain, and jealous.

History: Born to a Bookbinder, his father struggled to pay the bills. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud; and several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge

Description: This fat northern man has a bulbous nose and is constantly adorned with expensive silk clothing, often dyed in bright tan and red, and wears rings and necklaces with large, colorful gems. His skin is also unnaturally pale. His top hat is riddled with cuts and holes. His eyes are gray and beady.

Personality: He likes to brag about his accomplishments and constantly tries to beat others to the punch. When he's not drinking or sleeping the drinks off, he's doing poetry.

History: He comes from a rich northern family. His homeland was ravaged by war and he spent much of his life rebuilding it. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

Motivation: He is greedy.

Description: This man very much looks the part of a Stableman. He has a penchant for wearing a ring with an oversized topaz on his right hand. He keeps his golden hair in a pixie cut. He wears round tiny glasses practically rammed into his face.

Personality: He has a very dry and sarcastic sense of humor. He is not one for noise or eating so much, which is in direct contrast with his big mouthed big gutted partner. His partner is his best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. Heward enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Heward was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He inherited a moderately successful company from his father. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Stableman for the past few years.

Personality: Always inclined to offer people food he seems plenty friendly. He is however nostalgic and wants to reunite with his old comrades. He has some compunction and patriotism and will work for the government before all other clients.

History: He was born into a rich family. Cursed with a spirit at a very young age, Peter has worked very hard to control his curse. He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and he is greedy
