History: Born to a Scribe, his mother struggled to pay the bills. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Priest hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He's also a talented Scribe, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Description: This man is moderately tanned and has just the faintest trace of an accent. He is bundled in multiple layers and is prepared for a desert trek wearing a turban that covers his face most of the time. He has no hair. He has several tiny aquamarine earrings on each ear.

Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes illithids are coming to abduct people. He believes the world needs to unite to get rid of illithids once and for all.

History: He was born at the edge of vast mountains. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the mountains to a summer home near a old dungeon. He would wander through that old dungeon and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the mountains due to the painful memories there. Roland took refuge in the old dungeon and found the beat up quarterstaff and armor he uses now. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Personality: He likes to brag about his accomplishments and constantly tries to beat others to the punch. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Aldous is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. Cursed with unlife at a very young age, Aldous has worked very hard to control his curse. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
