History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. Bernard was born on a far northern forest where he grew up under the tutelage of his father, an expert Miner. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

History: The child of northern immigrants he idolized his mother. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious northern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his mother and father. His mother taught him the rudiments of the Map Maker arts, while his father instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. His homeland was ravaged by war and he spent much of his life rebuilding it. He now mingles about in high society.
