History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. His mother disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his mother, he was betrayed dozens of times. He now owns his own business.

Personality: He is calm most of the time but flees social interaction. He plays an instrument quite well.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Butcher hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

Motivation: He is content; and to find somewhere to settle down

Personality: He is quiet and anti-social and can barely make it a few minutes in conversation before his hampering stammer kicks in. As long as the job gets done he does not care how it got done.

History: He was born into a rich family. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Motivation: He is terrified, and will act out of fear; and obtaining odd cultural human artifacts is his passion

History: A child with a great deal of music talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. His father was a soldier and died while he was still young. Roger was left his father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and he has a crush on the local barber

History: Thomas was raised in a hard working conservative environment. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Adventurer for hire.

Motivation: A deep hatred of illithids; and someone believes him a fraud
