History: Ernest lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His mother was a soldier and died while he was still young. Ernest was left his mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Barrister they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Detective, and he later adopted a second daughter.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Map Maker. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.
