His father taught him the rudiments of the Soapmaker arts, while his mother instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Soapmaker work with an outfit from a few towns over. Soapmaker work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He struck the Soapmaker job and began his own company from there.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious southern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.

History: The child of western immigrants he idolized his mother. As a young adult he joined a group advocating for an improvement in Human conditions. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Personality: He hates dire rats. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. His actions favor neither the good nor the evil, as he answers to a power that mortal men fail to acknowledge.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. A gifted student he started as a Spice Merchant, but he got bored and became a Courier. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: His religion dominates his actions; and he is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs
