Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Simon embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. He does not believe in violence as a means to an end. He is a dedicated Sage but believes his peers are too gung-ho.

History: Born in the east his family was never financially stable. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Sage hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. After a long history of fighting, Simon and his spouse have recently divorced.

History: Lewis was born the youngest of three triplets. Being born in the south, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the south for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way west. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

History: He comes from a rich eastern family. There was a wharf not far from home where he often wandered off to fish. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: He is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally.
