History: Lewis lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Humans in the south were limited. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.

Personality: He snorts whenever he laughs or is feeling confident. He enjoys reading and quiet.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when dire rats swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. Because his father participated in the massacre of their homeland, dire rats burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. He was preparing to flee to the west, but the outbreak of war prevented him and his mother from journeying west to reunite his family. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.
