History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Chad fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

Personality: He believes mankind has become decadent and spoiled by the march of civilization and an end should come to life as we know it. Bernard enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: He was born in the west. There was a wharf not far from home where he often wandered off to fish. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He's attracted to the PC.

Description: This tall, slender man is bundled in multiple layers and is prepared for a desert trek wearing a turban that covers his face most of the time. His chestnut hair is still thick. His otherwise smooth face is marked with small tiny scars.

Personality: Confrontational and typically high on some drug or another. The war was a terrible time for him, and Manfred does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: Gifted from a young age, Manfred studied abroad. Through the years after Manfred was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Manfred's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Motivation: He feels kind of lost in life; and he loathes his own lifestyle

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Miller. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.
