Personality: He is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of his strength. He works very hard to maintain that gentleness. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of dire rats may trigger it at times.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. At a young age his father died while driving off some dire rats. His mother being the stubborn sort decided to stay and helped train him in shortspear use. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Bertram is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: His divine talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Humans in the south were limited. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Recently a tribe of drow attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. Lacking all sense, he decided to go on an adventure. He picked a direction and started trekking.
