Personality: His voice, at times compared to that of a Nymph, lambasts those who consider themselves "civilized" with snide, belittling remarks; the subtle growl he speaks with growing louder in doing so, one can find it most pronounced, despite the otherwise natural purity of his tone. History: He was born in the east, but his parents moved at a very young age to the north. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a daughter. Some 9 years later his spouse died after the birth of his daughter. Heartbroken, Nicholas never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his daughter whom he trained as his father had trained him before.

History: Born to a Gardener, his mother struggled to pay the bills. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Personality: He is calm most of the time but flees social interaction. He will do just about anything if he becomes convinced it is for someone's true love, of this he is easily convinced.

History: He got into the Marshal business at a young age. When the war came and ruined his parents he was left adrift. He was a hard man then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Marshal for the past few years.

Motivation: To prove his worth to the world; and further expansion of business

Personality: He considers himself the protector of his home. He feels this is his duty and calling. He misses his home and complains about the freezing weather, even in summer.

History: Ernest hails from a village terrorized by gnolls. Ernest was born on a far western mountains where he grew up under the tutelage of his father, an expert Miller. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by gnolls. Ernest was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the gnolls.

Motivation: A deep hatred of gnolls; and revenge

Personality: He is cool and collected. He likes to make quips and puns whenever he does anything. He also makes a point to compliment his superiors and flatter them. His brief stint in the army gave him the idea he was invincible and that he is the toughest man alive.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious eastern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Motivation: To reunite with his old friends; and he wants nothing more than to rejoin the army
