History: Born in the north to a Soapmaker, Bertram learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. Being born in the north, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way south. He struck the Soapmaker job and began his own company from there.

History: He was born at the edge of vast desert. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature nunchaku.

Motivation: Meet up once more with his childhood friend.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a son. He has taken up work as a Bowyer and fed both sides of the war false information with the goal of increasing casualties.

Personality: He is a melancholic, but persistent worker. He resents family life and as such spurns the advances of admirers. On top of that he is swayed by a pretty face, and while loyalty to his employer will always come first he doesn't like to hit women.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. He found a children's book about a Human Monk who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.
