Personality: Soft-spoken and well mannered, he has an amazing amount of patience and a slow boiling temper. He does not trust anyone and sleeps with one eye open.

History: Richard was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Monk, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Monk in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Through the years after Hugh was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Hugh's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.
