However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the brigands.

History: He was born into a rich family. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

Motivation: Regain custody of his daughter.

Personality: This man loves painting and to teach people painting more than just about anything. He is frequently practicing swordplay.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. Cursed with vampirism at a very young age, Gerard has worked very hard to control his curse. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by goblins, and he desires to right it; and revenge

History: He was born on a small isolated farm. Conrad liked to wander the woods near his home when he was young, something he still likes to do at least once a week. He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
