History: He comes from a rich southern family. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: He is greedy.

He carries with him a set of rapiers, each one with a ruby on the hilt. He only wears one on his belt and the other on his back. He wears his brown hair down. He has a dull look in his hazel eyes.

Personality: He cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with his opinion, he thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, he can get violently argumentative. He will pursue extreme courses of action in the short term, confident that they cannot fail.

History: Hugh lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The father sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. He saw this and took pride in his father's willingness to do anything to win. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Interpreter they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Shoemaker, and he later adopted a second daughter.

Motivation: Marry his sister to traveling adventurers; and doesn't want to be a shoemaker and was forced into it by his family

History: Dustin was raised in a hard working conservative environment. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Humans in the west were limited. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.
