History: His mother raised him in a mountain cabin. His father was a soldier and died while he was still young. Gerard was left his father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He has since married many spouses, only to have them die. He claims to not be responsible.

Personality: A rambunctious noisy drunk he knows how to make people feel guilty. He is harsh and unforgiving.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Painter. After a long history of fighting, Conrad and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern.

History: A powerful slaver made him what he is. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.

Motivation: He has money and likes to spend it; and doesn't want to be a fisher and was forced into it by his family

Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. He believes the world needs to unite to get rid of orcs once and for all.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when orcs swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. He worked as a nervous Carter and found it very stressful. He's also a talented Guard, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: Revenge; and his religion dominates his actions
