His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Personality: Prone to second guessing himself, he comes off as nervous. He does not believe in violence as a means to an end. He is a dedicated Butcher but believes his peers are too gung-ho.

History: Alex lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. A gifted student he started as a Herbalist, but he got bored and became a Butcher. By chance he met his sister recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: Many brigands want him driven away; and marry his sister to traveling adventurers

Personality: He is irritable and easily angered. He is a bit of a bully and is not afraid to use his stature and powers to intimidate and hurt. He is used to getting what he wants. In part because he is a meticulous planner.

History: When he was but 4 years old his parents immigrated from the east. He dropped out of school before completing his studies. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Personality: He believes mankind has become decadent and spoiled by the march of civilization and an end should come to life as we know it. He disdains his fellow southerners, claiming they make him look unintelligent just for using an accent.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the south. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. He bought a bow and has really upped his game hunting, due to his understanding of decoy and ambush.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC.
