History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.

Description: Runty and weak-looking, he wears light armors faded through time and improper care. He keeps his chestnut hair in a flapper bob. He has a tattooed face.

Personality: Bernard wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Paladin, so he tries to act the part. He does a good job, for the most part... He cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist he will grow angry at them.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. Through the years after Bernard was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Bernard's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: He was born at the edge of vast mountains. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Description: This man wears dull brown sweaters, loose black pants, and alligator leather shoes. Beneath his sweater he keeps a concealed kukri, just in case, and sports empty pouches on his belt. He wears a Stetson hat to hide his balding. He has blue eyes and a brown hat with a black feather.

Personality: He is a Dilettante first and foremost. He believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. More though he will beg to come along on any journeys. He will attempt to stowaway on any ship he can in the hopes that it will get him further away.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Humans in the north were limited. He has worked as a Dilettante like his father before him.

Motivation: He feels kind of lost in life; and he'd like to take his coworkers down a peg

Personality: He is a melancholic, but persistent worker. He resents family life and as such spurns the advances of admirers. He has a habit of throwing himself into exceedingly dangerous situations.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. Cursed with unlife at a very young age, Manfred has worked very hard to control his curse. In his journeys he found a malevolent artifact. He wishes to return this artifact and its corrupting influence back to where it came.
