Personality: His tongue was cut out and he uses sign language. He dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: Adelard was born the youngest of three triplets. He has had some formal painting training, and achieved minor success. By chance he met his sister recently and the two have been together since.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. During his travels, Roger and his party rested in a cavern that was (unknown to them) infused with powerful dark magic. Upon awakening, Roger discovered the rest of his party dead, transformed into horrible, mindless undead versions of their former selves. Roger fled the cavern, stopping for breath at a small pool, and only then realizing his own horrible transformation.

Personality: He considers himself a man of culture and sophistication. He likes a good challenge to his wits. He never wears the same outfit twice, unless he absolutely has to.

History: He was raised in a forest tribe. His first spouse was a Knight, they had one daughter, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. He left for the west, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: His relatives are trying to arrange a marriage.

Personality: He has two modes he varies between. On the job he is cold, steely and emotionless. Off the job he is a party animal. He has a hair trigger and will fly into rage over the tiniest perceived slights.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. In his 18th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his mother impaled in their home, and his father beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He has set out to sabotage the competition.
