Personality: He snorts whenever he laughs or is feeling confident. He dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when brigands swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. At a young age his father died while driving off some brigands. His mother being the stubborn sort decided to stay and helped train him in crossbow use. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Humans in the west were limited. Some 10 years later his spouse died after the birth of his daughter. Heartbroken, Manfred never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his daughter whom he trained as his mother had trained him before.
