History: He was born in a small island village. In his 10th year, his parents were killed by a dire rats raid, leaving Richard alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

Motivation: Many dire rats want him driven away; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and he desires to right it

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. Cursed with vampirism at a very young age, Kody has worked very hard to control his curse. He left for the west, certain he would find work there.

Personality: He trusts no one. He is not readily capable for forgiveness and his ire never leaves him. He lacks restraint and is impulsive. He jumps in and acts without thinking all too often.

History: Adelard lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His arcane abilities were realized during a raid on his village. After a long history of fighting, Adelard and his spouse have recently divorced.
