Description: This tall, slender man prefers to wear fine silks, though has several suits of combat armor for his hunting needs. His brown hair is styled in orderly dreadlocks. His gray eyes dart from person to person to random spaces in the air.
Personality: He is extraordinarily eccentric. To his fellows he is seen as friendly and intelligent, but is angry and unforgiving to the so called fatcats and any who do and have associated with them.
History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. His parents were killed by gnolls in a raid when he was still a young child. The gnolls captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.
Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister; and doesn't want to be a animal trainer and was forced into it by his family

Description: He is a pot bellied northern man with a big hulking figure and broad shoulders. He is generally well dressed albeit a few years behind the times. He wears a wide-brimmed hat to cover his moderate length golden hair. He wears large thick round spectacles.
Personality: He believes there is no problem he cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. He dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.
History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. He was taken from his home at a very young age. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.
Motivation: He is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out; and to share knowledge with the world

Description: With grey face paint in a stripe pattern across his face, he prefers to wear white pants and tee shirts. His moppish red hair is in a traditional bowl cut. He is very pretty but has cold, dead eyes.
Personality: He is always cheerful, even with a hangover, and is always willing to go through all sorts of trouble to help his friends. He considers everything a fun event and doesn't hold grudges. He misses his home and complains about the freezing weather, even in summer.
History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. At some point he was captured by illithids and was tortured. After several years of this he finally managed to escape. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by illithids. Bernard was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the illithids.
Motivation: Many illithids want him driven away; and several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge

Description: He wears a robe, a symbol of the four houses of cards around his neck, and a shortbow on his belt. He has a slight overbite and is overall scrawny. His hair is greying and his face has many wrinkles. He wears large thick round spectacles.
Personality: A rambunctious noisy drunk he knows how to make people feel guilty. He moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep his interest for a month it is impressive.
History: Hubert was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Paladin, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Paladin in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He found a children's book about a Human Paladin who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.
Motivation: Obtaining odd cultural Human artifacts is his passion.

History: He was born in the south. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He left for the south, certain he would find work there.
Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and he has money and likes to spend it
