Description: He wears a large hat to cast shadows over his face and wears ponchos to better hide his body. He has a moderate pudge and is not very fit. His chestnut hair is lengthy and is close to two feet long. His eyes are likewise gray. His teeth are yellowed and unaligned.
Personality: He can speak with the recently deceased. He takes great pride in his work and is very well organized. His planner is full of calendar events.
History: His father raised him in a mountain cabin. His parents were killed by dire rats in a raid when he was still a young child. The dire rats captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He tends to his Guard job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.
Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and he desires to right it; and a deep hatred of dire rats

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. He found a children's book about a Human Monk who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.

Personality: He is calm most of the time but flees social interaction. He misses his home and complains about the freezing weather, even in summer.
History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when gnolls swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. A few years later when the north was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He left for the south, certain he would find work there.
Motivation: Many gnolls want him driven away; and revenge
