History: The child of a Carter, who enjoyed hunting, Kyle was taken on many hunting expeditions. He has had some formal singing training, and achieved minor success. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. Patrick abandoned his home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. He survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. He did whatever it took for him to survive. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 11 years.
