History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. Through the years after Ralf was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Ralf's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: Anselm lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature halberd.

History: He was born in the east. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. Recently a tribe of illithids attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Norman fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
