History: Percival was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. Ostracized due to the necromantic powers of his oldest brother, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Humans became a terror of the countryside. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: Adelard hangs on like a leech to those who appreciate him. It was this clingy personality that held back his writing career. He is obsessed with his god.

History: He was born at the edge of vast island. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Humans in Adelard's homeland. Adelard decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. Recently a tribe of illithids attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Adelard fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Personality: Always inclined to offer people food he seems plenty friendly. When he's not drinking or sleeping the drinks off, he's doing singing.

History: Gifted from a young age, Bernard studied abroad. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He used his abilities to travel the world and help people.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and wants to work out more often

Personality: He is quiet and anti-social and can barely make it a few minutes in conversation before his hampering stammer kicks in. He is underhanded and not above using his wealth and body to get others to do his bidding.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. Since his mother passed away years ago, his father had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and wants a kiss

Personality: He is curt in most of his responses. He prefers to keep his word usage to a minimum to avoid giving away unnecessary information. On top of that he is swayed by a pretty face, and while loyalty to his employer will always come first he doesn't like to hit men.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. He has had some formal painting training, and achieved minor success. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.

Motivation: To reunite with his old friends; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark
