A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

Personality: He is business-like. He takes instructions and follows them to the letter. He loves teas. He is very sensitive about his face. To blow off anger he lifts weights and to control his otherwise explosive temper he works out a lot.

History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. His mother was a soldier and died while he was still young. Shane was left his mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: He hates Humans with a passion. As such he is filled with self loathing. His home and work are filled with various knick knacks he has acquired through the years. He cares a great deal for his adopted teenage son.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. Cursed with vampirism at a very young age, Ralf has worked very hard to control his curse. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud; and his relatives are trying to arrange a marriage

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. His father disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his father, he was betrayed dozens of times. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature rapier.

Motivation: To get a good night's sleep; and find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister

Personality: Overbrimming with self-confidence, Frederick isn't afraid of most anything. He has a strong dislike to people who do not believe in Human unity. He cannot resist a sob story and will often dote over anyone who has one.

History: Born to a Fortune-teller, his mother struggled to pay the bills. Frederick was born on a far western forest where he grew up under the tutelage of his mother, an expert Sellsword. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.

Motivation: Retire the richest man in the west; and wants to raise his children well
