When his mother died while fighting illithids, the young John began to lead the lost caravan. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by illithids. John was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the illithids.

Personality: He will rave to anyone who will listen. He is accommodating to his spouse and as such limits his hospitality. He is brave and levelheaded in the face of danger and has proven himself a capable leader.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. His mother was a soldier and died while he was still young. Richard was left his mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He now mingles about in high society.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and he has money and likes to spend it

Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. He is obsessed with a lost civilization.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. He was taken as a slave by a traveling circus and forced to perform He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 11 years.

Motivation: He is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out.

History: Gilbert was born the youngest of three triplets. He has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to him frivolously. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Navigator they were divorced and he won custody of their son. He worked as a Knight, and he later adopted a second son.

Description: A pudgy man standing about 5'4" has a big stupid grin on his face most of the time. He wears a robe, a symbol of strength around his neck, and a pickaxe on his belt. He has a white handlebar mustache and slicked back white hair. His brown eyes are desperate and heavily dilated. He has the appearance of someone under the heavy influence of drugs.

Personality: He is a Scribe first and foremost. He believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. He has all his life been fascinated with music.

History: A child with a great deal of music talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Motivation: Further expansion of business; and sabotage a competitor
