Tim was left his mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. Recently a tribe of goblins attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Tim fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Personality: Soft-spoken and well mannered, he has an amazing amount of patience and a slow boiling temper. He is harsh and unforgiving.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Bertram grew up listening to his father's many stories. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Crown-heir. By chance he met his sister recently and the two have been together since.

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Motivation: He has passion for adventuring and risk; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark

Personality: He is quite rude, and likes to deride his opponents skill and shout insults at them. The war was a terrible time for him, and Alex does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: To end his boredom; and he wants nothing more than to rejoin the army
