He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He left for the east, certain he would find work there.

History: He comes from a rich southern family. He inherited a moderately successful company from his mother. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Mayor they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Butcher, and he later adopted a second daughter.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and marry his sister to traveling adventurers

Description: He is a husky man, who is armored in gleaming platemail with gilded edges. A flowing red cape and mantle trimmed with soft blue waves gently in the breeze. His brown hair is kept up in a ponytail inside a feathered hat. He is baby faced.

Personality: Quiet and reserved he prefers to listen than to talk. He will nod occasionally and communicate nonverbally. He has zero loyalty and will suck up to whomever is within range, in the hopes of being moved to a better position.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. Being born in the south, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the south for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way west. He now mingles about in high society.

Personality: He does not believe in betrayal or weakness as things to be tolerated. He keeps company with all sorts of races to see how they think and challenge minds foreign to his own.

History: When he was but 3 years old his parents immigrated from the west. Because his father participated in the massacre of their homeland, illithids burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. He was preparing to flee to the west, but the outbreak of war prevented him and his mother from journeying west to reunite his family. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: Overbrimming with self-confidence, Diggory isn't afraid of most anything. He has a strong dislike to people who do not believe in Human unity. He is an amazing painter.

History: Diggory lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Before the accident, he was one of the most outspoken anti-Human activists. He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Human doctor. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Sellsword they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Dyer, and he later adopted a second daughter.

Motivation: Marry his brother to traveling adventurers; and human compassion
