The brigands captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. He has had some formal poetry training, and achieved minor success. He now spends his time doing works of charity.

History: He comes from a rich southern family. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He was granted martial powers by his dying sister.

Motivation: He has money and likes to spend it; and to clean up the streets

Personality: He is a pretentious jerk insisting that modern society is full of problems and should revert to a simpler time. A true patriot, Henry would do anything for his country. He is fiercely protective of his fellow citizens and foreign allies.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious eastern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. He helped his father out around the business and became quite the natural. He has achieved small success as a Soapmaker.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Soapmaker responsibilities is difficult.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.
