History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. His father was a mechanic, and taught him how to fix just about anything. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Personality: He trusts no one. He is not readily capable for forgiveness and his ire never leaves him. He is vehemently anti-magic. All of it is evil and corrupting in his opinion.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. Through the years after Roger was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Roger's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.
