Personality: Charles wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Barbarian, so he tries to act the part. He does a good job, for the most part... His philosophy is that everyone needs a friend and as such shows hospitality towards all.

History: He was raised in a island tribe. His father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when dire rats swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. He has been helping groups of widows and orphans who have fled abusive spouses or lost their families to dire rats.

Motivation: Many dire rats want him driven away.

Personality: He is a pretentious jerk insisting that modern society is full of problems and should revert to a simpler time. Only to laugh say gotcha and shoot double pistol fingers at the fooled target.

History: He was born at the edge of vast mountains. He found a children's book about a Human Monk who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

History: Hunter was born with his father's beautiful face. Ostracized due to the divine powers of his oldest brother, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Humans became a terror of the countryside. He was granted divine powers by his dying brother.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and wants to work out more often
