History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when giants swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

Personality: He thrives on attention. He does whatever is in his power to gain the attention of whomever he deems a fit date. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of illithids may trigger it at times.

History: Gerard hails from a village terrorized by illithids. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He has since married many spouses, only to have them die. He claims to not be responsible.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by illithids, and he desires to right it.

He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.
