History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Humans in Anselm's homeland. Anselm decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. He left for the west, certain he would find work there.

Personality: He is envious of other's things. He hoards treasure, art, food, wine, and anything that he so desires. His brief stint in the army gave him the idea he was invincible and that he is the toughest man alive.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious southern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.
