History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. He took after his father in leading caravans. Because they were valued, his father taught him to defend himself. When his father died while fighting drow, the young Nicholas began to lead the lost caravan. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge; and he wants revenge against drow
