History: He comes from a rich northern family. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He tends to his Engraver job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He has a small toy that he constantly fidgets with.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. Through the years after Ernest was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Ernest's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.

Motivation: Retire the richest man in the west.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his mother and father. His mother taught him the rudiments of the Bounty Hunter arts, while his father instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. A freak accident while working with his Bellfounder mother left him crippled. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He has passion for adventuring and risk; and he desires power and/or immortality

He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: He is terrified, and will act out of fear; and he is wracked by social anxiety
