History: Anthony lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He dropped out of school to support his sick father, and resented it. He now mingles about in high society.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and many brigands want him driven away

History: He was born at the edge of vast desert. Through the years after Aldous was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Aldous's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.

Motivation: He is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally; and find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister
